TVGuardian works on virtually all broadcast television, and videos played through the VCR you already own. Unlike other parental control devices, TVGuardian doesn't require the networks to broadcast any special ratings system to function. Simply pop in a movie, or turn on your favorite TV series. Then relax while TVGuardian goes to work, eliminating practically all the offensive language from
the ears of your children. Of course, parents must still select movies with content suitable for their children. Parents can select from several different modes of operation. A Strict/Tolerent setting either disallows or allows certain words. TVGuardian also modifies the
closed captioning by removing the foul language. It can be set to not display closed captioning, display it during the mute of offensive material only, or display it during the entire movie.
